Let It Snow

Oh we just keep getting snow! I am hoping that it slows down soon. I saw this adorable turtle image from Bugaboo and decided with all the snow I must have it for my image for Sweet Sketch Wednesday this week. Bugaboo has such adorable images. Jodie just keeps on creating them.

Well, life has been crazy with the holidays. I was late in getting my card made. Even forgot to ask for an image. I am in the process of loading my Class Kits onto my Sweet Things Hand Made Blog. Be on the look out for that.

The Sweet Taste of Peppermint and Hot Cocoa

It's really cold outside at my house so I could use some hot cocoa about now. I was way behind on doing my card this week. So much to do and so little time. I was asked to start teaching craft classes at my local Roberts crafts stores. I was asked last Wednesday and need to figure things out and have some displays ready for my first class. I will have another blog called Sweet Things Handmade. I hope you will follow me there too. I don't have any posts on there yet but will be getting that done in the next few days. There you will find my class projects for sell. Everything in a kit ready to put together. Also I will be selling some of my hand made cards.

The Sweetness of Christmas  and a SWEET Sketch #80

Well it's getting a lot closer to Christmas and how many of you are really ready? I just barley got my Christmas Tree decorated. I have a very tall tree so it is very hard for a short person to decorate it. But I guess that's what tall ladders are meant for. This year I lucked out and my son, Colton, did all the work. My children know how picky I am when it comes to decorating my tree. We always have a theme and a lot of the ormanents are handmade by me. Right now I have two choices of trees...my Snowman Tree or my Santa Tree. Since my tree is in the hall and I have tile floors I opted to use my Snowman Tree as I do not want my ceramic Santa's to break. Some years I put up two trees. Either way I love both trees.

A SWEET Thank You for all my SWEET Birthday Wishes. They really made my day. My SWEET sister really suprised me on that one as I usually check the post right down to every word. Sweetness

My Mom always made the best pies.  Her pie crusts were so perfect and flaky....not too thick. She made Raisin, Lemon , Apple, Peach, Banana and Coconut Cream pies. My favorite had to be the Raisin and Lemon pies but I know each sibling had their own favorite.

So when I saw this image, Annies Pie, at Tiddly Inks I had to have it. Tiddly Inks is our sponsor this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I love their Annie Images.

The other day I was at Joanns and saw this darling paper pack from K and Company.  Since this wasn't a Christmas image I used some papers from that pack. I picked my papers by the flowers that were in Annie's dress.

Penguin Fun

I had so much fun making this card from Di's Digi Downloads. Diane is our sponsor this week at Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I had such a hard time picking my image to use this time. Finally I made up my mind. I just love how my card turned out, don't you? Well, my treasure from the black Friday sale was this paper pack  from Die Cuts with a View. I really fell in love with the whole pack. So the papers used in my card this week are from that pack.  I also used my new nestie and decided I wanted to cut out my image.
